La representación sintáctica de la topicalidad de los participantes discursivos en la narrativa tradicional Malecu

Abstract

This paper analyzes how the topicality of the discoursive participants in traditional stories in Maleku is represented syntactally. It argues that the main strategy used to indicate that a participant is highly topical, is a so-called “right dislocation” of the nominal phrase that represents the participant.
