Abstract

This article has two main goals: to propose a way to show, along with morpheme by morpheme translation and free version of a text, the different types of information coded in the text’s clauses; and to analyze how participant coding devices are used in the Bribri traditional story Mika Sibô Tsikìne ‘When Sibô was born’.
