Estado de la lengua cabécar en el poblado de San Rafael de Cañas, Buenos Aires (Puntarenas)

Abstract

In this article, the Cabecar language spoken in San Rafael de Cañas, county of Buenos Aires in the province of Puntarenas (Costa Rica) is being studied. This is a non-exhaustive fieldwork study where the vitality of some morphological as well as syntactic issues are described and compared with general Cabecar. In order to achieve this, the results of the fieldwork, based on a question paper, were compared with those representing standard Cabecar.
