Nearly 1000 participants from 23 countries participated in over 500 presentations (com- munications, workshops and posters) in the XIVth Inter-American Conference on Mathematics Education that was held in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, México, from May 3-7, 2015. It was a regional meeting of the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction (ICMI).
