Abstract

In this paper the author argues for the need for the introduction of modern algebra in the mathematics curricula for secondary education, highlighting its pedagogical importance and social aspects implicit in the initiative. The new achievements of this important area of human knowledge are fundamental to the country can overcome the barrier of cultural and economic underdevelopment.
