Abstract

This article discusses the essay On Some Motifs in Baudelaire (1939) and the concept of memory as thread along which Benjamin develops his discourse. The author emphasizes the intertextual richness of the essay, and especially emphasizes the interrelations between Benjamin’s thought, psycho-analysis and the Benjaminian reading of the Freudian text.
