Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between televised soccer games and intrafamiliar violence denunciations. 5838 denunciations were analyzed and the scores and teams from all soccer games (Costarrican Maior Soccer League and National Teams) were collected between february 1998 and June 1999. Results showed that in the days after soccer games, significant (F=3.9; p<0.05; w2=2.5Vo) more denunciations were presented. But it was not effect of the score or the team, over daily denunciations.
