Abstract

The macroeconomic policies and its effecs on the social context consists the main framework o[ analysis to rethink altemative models of social intervention and offer elements for the formulation and management of social programs and policies, facing the new millenium. The present work presents the position of intemational agencies and govemment of the region, in relation to the social subject, discovering at the same time, the excellent opportunities to perform efficiently a task and concemed with reality.
