Abstract
A qualitative research with l0 older women from the Costa Rican rural area, between 70 and 80 years old, and their daughters. The researchers pretended to identify the older women's shores in their house and community, and also the importance of those activities for them.
The researchers used the observation technique, a retrospective survey, interviews and a diary to gather the data. The main findings were: these women lessen their house shores as they become older and they prefer indoor and spiritual activities.
