LOS ESTUDIOS DE LA MUJER EN COSTA RICA: DESAFIANDO EL PASADO, CONSTRUYENDO EL FUTURO

Abstract

The authors address those factors contributting to tbe establisbment and development of Women´s Studies in Costa Rica. The paper ends with a discussion of advancements, problems and challenges related to no-sexist rasearch, teaching and extension in academia. Also discuss Women´s Studies at the graduated level, and the elimination of sexism ín university lífy by influencing the policies and structure of academic institutions.
