Abstract
Social scientists choose between two metodological approaches: a positive-standaizing trend (very popular) and a negative- heuristic one (essentially critical). methodologism arises from the first one. The pretended "missioner" role -social "doctors", a vulgar platonism- to which many of those scientists feel they are called is but their professional ideology. To support this myth it suits them to make sure the have some efficent procedures belonging to the first kind of methods.
