Abstract
This paper analizes the dialectic influence "revolution-contrarrevolution" in Nicaragua concerning the urban process during last decade. Stands out popular participation in the struggle to overthrow Somoza's military dictatorship and the process of national reconstruction during the years of the revolution. Also the role played by contrarrevolutionary war in the articulation process of this situation with its later urban process is emphazised.
Finally, states a hypothesis conjunct about the future of this social process.
