Abstract
This paper studies the central problems about method of sociology of religion according to J. Wach.
Epistemological presupposed (comprehension, science bounds, individual, etc.) are analized, applied to the following themes: communication and religious community, and organization, among others.
Concludes the article affirming the use of the remarked method.
