Abstract

Here we consider the stance of Costa Rican catholic Church, and possible developments, regarding the present process of structual adjusment. Before doing so, we depict the Church in terms of its political-ideological nature, and review the economic, social and political-ideological impact of adjustment in Costa Rica.
